Third DCO Early Career Scientist Workshop to Study Mt. Etna

From 28 August to 2 September 2017, Hotel Biancaneve (Nicolosi, CT) and Mount Etna (Sicily).
The multitematic workshop organized by the Deep Carbon Observatory is aimed at young scientists from various parts of the world

, who are actively making research on the deep carbon cycle. The goal is to bring to the attention of young scientists the different research themes in this topic, giving them some examples of application on Etna volcano, either from the theoretical point of view or the application of field deployable analytical instruments. Participants will also have the opportunity to take samples of fluids and rocks on the volcano.
The INGV in Palermo will hold some frontal lessons and demonstrations on the field of using geochemical tracers in volcanic research and monitoring.
